AI Disclosure

How Earling Labs Marketer uses AI — in plain English.

The short version

Marketer helps you manage your Google Business Profile and local SEO. Its AI features draft Google Business posts and suggest local-SEO keywords. These are powered by Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic, a U.S.-based AI safety company. Marketer has no proprietary AI model of its own.

AI drafts content; you decide what gets published. Nothing is posted to Google without you clicking publish, and every AI draft is fully editable first.

Read this first

AI can produce content that is inaccurate, off-tone, or makes claims you didn't intend (prices, guarantees, dates). Always review a draft before you publish it to your public profile. You are responsible for what goes out under your business's name.

Where AI is used in Marketer

FeatureWhat it doesPowered by
Post draftingDrafts a Google Business post from your topic, type, and toneClaude (Sonnet)
Keyword ideasSuggests local-SEO keyword phrases for your trade + areaClaude (Haiku)
Earling AI helpAnswers "how does this work" questions, grounded only in your own accountClaude (Haiku)

The listing-completeness score and checklist are not AI — they're a straightforward calculation of which profile fields you've filled in and whether you've posted recently. If the AI key isn't configured, drafts and keyword ideas fall back to built-in templates and the rest of the app works normally.

What "Claude" means

Claude is an AI assistant developed by Anthropic. When you use an AI feature, the prompt and result are processed through Anthropic's API. We license Anthropic like any other developer — we're not affiliated beyond being an API customer.

Your data & model improvement

To draft posts and keywords, the information you provide (your topic, business profile details) may be sent to Anthropic's API for processing. We do not sell your data.

Earling Labs may use de-identified records of AI interactions in Marketer to improve our own future models. For Marketer this means we keep the post type, tone, draft and final lengths, a one-way fingerprint of whether you edited the draft, and the outcome (published / scheduled / discarded). We do not store the post text itself for this purpose, and your account is recorded only as a one-way pseudonym. This use is covered by our Terms and Privacy Policy; if you'd prefer your account excluded, email support@earlinglabs.com.

What we don't claim

We don't claim to have built "our own AI" for Marketer's drafting — that's Claude. The only genuinely proprietary Earling Labs model anywhere in the suite is the Earling Labs Predictor (a stock-forecasting model in our Trading Platform), which Marketer does not use.
